Die Thread Inserts bestehen aus austenitic stainless steeldraht mit diamond-shaped cross-section (Rhombus, 60°), der durch cold-forming zur federnden Wendel geformt wird. Die federnde Bauweise verteilt eingeleitete Kräfte gleichmäßig über alle Gewindegänge , das Ergebnis ist eine verschleißfeste Verbindung mit konstant niedrigem Gewindereibmoment, auch bei häufig wiederholter Verschraubung und hoher Betriebslast.
