For cutting external threads according to the ISO standards of metric coarse threads M1 to M68 and metric fine threads M1 to M56 preslotted (Form B) round dies are used. HSSE-VAP = high-speed steel with 5% Cobalt. VAP = vaporised. The oxidized surface (VAP) provides the cutting oil better adhesion and thus ensuring a constant lubricating film and prevents galling. Suitable for high alloyed steels and stainless steel, INOX, V2A steel, cast steel up to 900 N / mm² strength.
