The GSR PROFI Thread Cutting Fluid is a high-quality multipurpose lubricant of the latest generation, developed for all common metal cutting operations. Its semi-pasty consistency allows precise, targeted application directly from the squeeze bottle onto the tool or workpiece, without running off or dripping.

The targeted lubricating action significantly reduces friction between tool and workpiece, lowers heat build-up at the cutting edge, and prevents cold welding. The result: noticeably longer tool life and cleaner thread surfaces.

The formulation is water- and soap-based and completely free of mineral oil, chlorine, and sulfur. It is therefore environmentally compatible and requires no hazard labeling. After machining, the cutting fluid leaves no oily residue on the workpiece, making post-treatment largely unnecessary and keeping the work area clean.

The paste is suitable for all metals, including stainless steel, steel, aluminum, cast iron, and non-ferrous metals. The cutting fluid must always be used undiluted and in its pure form.

Important: Use undiluted, do not dilute. The cutting fluid must be used exclusively in its undiluted form. Any dilution with water or other agents will impair the lubricating performance and drip-free consistency.

The cutting fluid is applied directly from the squeeze bottle to the cutting edge or drilling/cutting point. The semi-pasty consistency ensures the product stays in place and does not run off vertical surfaces. For automated processes, it can also be applied using a brush or dosing system.

After machining, the cutting fluid leaves no oily film on the workpiece. Extensive degreasing is not required in most cases. For thread repair using GSR Coilrepair sets, apply the cutting fluid to the installation tool and thread insert before installation.
