Usage
Thread repair inserts are used
to repair broken threads while
keeping the nominal diameter
or to reinforce threads.

THREAD INSERTS

GSR-thread inserts made of stainless steel ensure a very high corrosion resistance and
heat resistance. The profile is rhomboid. The wire is rolled to an elastic spring. A lag pin is located
at the bottom end. While installing the screw insert the spring gets tension and holds
the inserts into the external thread. Therefore the thread insert is longer when installed
than in the original state. There are different sizes which are oriented to the thread diameter
(1 × d, 1,5× d, 2,5 × d).
